Description
STEP ON GREEN is the sustainable materials line promoted by Synthelast for the footwear industry. This initiative seeks a more environmentally friendly alternative to materials from non-renewable sources such as petroleum, while extending the service life of components through recycling. At Synthelast, we have developed sustainable product alternatives to help tackle one of today’s greatest climate challenges. Currently, 80% of marine waste is plastic, and an estimated 8.8 million metric tonnes are discharged to the seabed each year. Reducing this waste is essential: by extending product life cycles, restoring value to materials after their first use, or using alternatives to traditional plastics.
